A freight train derailment in southern Kentucky, US, caused a chemical leak and resulted in a fire on Tuesday, forcing authorities to issue a shelter-in-place order for nearby residents. Rail operator CSX said that 31 rail cars derailed. One of the cars was carrying molten sulfur, a flammable material, which leaked following the derailment and ignited.
