Bondi Beach Shooting: Eyewitness Describes Horror

At least 10 people are reported dead and multiple others injured after two rifle-armed gunmen opened fire at Bondi Beach as a Jewish holiday celebration was underway on Sunday afternoon. Witnesses said two men stepped out of a vehicle on Campbell Parade, near Bondi Pavilion, and opened fire about 6.40pm on Sunday with footage showing blast after blast on the tourist strip. Bus passengers crouched for safety as police responded to a shooting at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach on Sunday where at least 11 people were killed during a Jewish gathering, according to Australian officials. One of two gunmen identified in the shooting was also dead, police said. Another 29 people were taken to hospitals with injuries, including two officers and a child.
