One Powerball ticket sold in Western Washington missed the jackpot but still won big, according to lottery officials. The Powerball player matched four white balls and the red Powerball to win $50,000 in the drawing on Saturday, Dec. 27, according to a spokesperson for Washington's Lottery and the national Powerball website.
The workers include nurse practitioners, physician associates and clinical nurse specialists — known as advanced practice providers — who staff Legacy hospitals and clinics across Oregon and Southwest Washington. They have been on strike since Dec. 2, as they work toward their first labor contract since unionizing in late 2023.
