Ford recalls 272K Mavericks, Mach-Es, and Lightning trucks for rollaway risk

Ford suggests using the electronic parking brake until the fix is done. The parking brake isn't affected. Ford says it first learned of the problem in July. A Mach-E was going through the usual tests before leaving the factory when Ford discovered the park pawl did not engage.
