The Lakers get their Christmas gift wrapped with a good news on Luka Dončić's injury recovery following a lower leg contusion.

Los Angeles Lakers teammates Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves have a unique friendship where they routinely make fun of one another in jest, something that's been apparent during numerous interviews.

Dončić will play for Los Angeles Sunday against the 76ers after rejoining the team in Pennsylvania, according to a Saturday afternoon report from Dan Woike of The Athletic. The 26-year-old traveled to Slovenia for the birth of his second child, which he announced early Saturday morning on Instagram.

The NBA's leading scorer impressed teammate LeBron James with his 45 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists Thursday night.

Reaves had missed the Lakers’ previous three games. Luka Doncic (lower left leg contusion), Rui Hachimura (right groin soreness) and Gabe Vincent (lumbar back strain) remained sidelined Tuesday.
