West Michigan communities are offering diverse New Year's Eve celebrations for everyone, from ball drops to bowling.

West Michigan is getting ready to ring in the new year with parties, fireworks and events scheduled for the last day in December.

The concert opened with performances by the fourth, fifth- and sixth-grade concert band, led by band teacher Brett Vasquez.
