Browse to the Web page file to open and double-click the file name. Click "Plain Text" from the Convert File dialog box and click "OK." Your Web file opens as a plain text file showing the HTML code.
Click the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of your screen and then click "Computer" to open the native Windows 7 file manager. Locate the HTML file you want to save to text.
