Arizona weather forecast: Flash flood advisories in effect as more storms roll in
Flash flood advisories and warnings are in effect through tonight for the severe thunderstorms rolling into the Valley.
Strong storms hit Arizona on Friday, causing flooded streets, parks and highways. This weekend, there will be a slight chance of more storms with highs in the 80s.
A flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Flagstaff at 3:06 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Officials have initiated a shelter-in-place order for areas including Globe and Miami due to severe weather and potential hazards.
