A retired couple's collection of antique dolls amassed over 75 years has become the largest of its kind to sell at auction - fetching more than £632,000.

Prolific collectors Austin Smith and his late partner Margaret Harkins accrued more than 1,000 dolls over more than seven decades. One item from the collection near Bath went for £15,000.
