Turkish authorities previously said officials had arrested more than 100 people over IS plans to carry out attacks over Christmas.

Turkish authorities said Friday they've apprehended a suspected ISIS member who was planning attacks on celebrations ushering in the new year. It comes a day after the prosecutor's office said authorities carried out raids then detained over 100 people linked to the militant group.
