Earlier today, June 8, 2026, Apple revealed full details of its next generation of iPhone software at WWDC.

Despite rumors that Apple would drop support for several older models this year, as the company usually does, iOS 27 will work on every iPhone that can currently run iOS 26.

As with the new versions of Apple’s other operating systems launching this year including iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate 27, iPadOS 27’s biggest updates will come courtesy of the new Siri AI.
