A heartbreaking update has emerged following a house fire at the house of NASCAR star Denny Hamlin’s parents. Dennis Hamlin, Denny’s father, died from injuries suffered during the fire, according to NASCAR.com.

The Stanley, N.C., home of Denny Hamlin‘s parents caught fire Sunday night. Gaston County officials confirmed Monday that one person has died as a result of their injuries after being taken to the hospital.
