These vehicles were part of a previous recall (24V-330), but the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module (HPCM) software wasn’t updated correctly.

In a separate recall, the manufacturer is also fixing a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) on 24,655 2025 Ford Explorers. The issue could cause stalling of the vehicle or damage its parking system.

Remedy: A software update for the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module (SOBDMC) will be installed by dealers free of charge.
