SeaWorld has announced the death of its famed killer whale, Katina. On Sunday, Dec. 21, SeaWorld Orlando shared in an emotional social media tribute that Katina died at age 50.

The 50-year-old orca had been at SeaWorld Orlando for 40 years and was one of just five killer whales at the park.
