Michigan State football has traveled to the west coast to take on No. 25 USC in a late night battle of 3-0 teams. While USC played their first Big Ten game a week ago against Purdue, this is the first Big Ten game of the 2025 season for Michigan State, and comes as a major test for the Spartans.

MSU forces their first punt of the night, but the final will be 45-31 in favor of USC. Aidan Chiles threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns, and Omari Kelly had six catches for 133 yards and a touchdown.

Michigan State football opened the 2025 season with a couple of big time wins at Spartan Stadium, defeating both Western Michigan and Boston College. The Spartans looked to carry that momentum into a game against Youngstown State at Spartan Stadium, and they did, improving to 3-0 with a win.
