Anthony and Joe Russo claim that the live-action adaptation of Hercules is still in the very early stages of development. The two aren't even sure how they're going to handle the movie's music yet.

Because the project is in early development, the Russo brothers “can’t say one way or the other” if Hercules will be a musical, but “music will certainly be a part of it,” Anthony Russo told Collider.
