With Copilot and Microsoft 365, you can summarize, ask questions, create an FAQ, and even compare certain files stored in OneDrive.

Microsoft is testing AI actions in File Explorer in the Canary channel, starting with blur, erase, and background removal.

Microsoft 365 subscribers can now use Copilot in OneDrive and File Explorer to summarize, compare, and query files.

Rather than running AI directly inside File Explorer, the system will gain a workflow where selected files are sent to separate apps to process the files and return the results.

The native File Explorer on Windows 11 doesn't support tabs, but there's still a way to manage your files with a tabbed interface.
