There were eight nationally televised bowl games, highlighted by the one that has become the standard-bearer for bowls outside of the College Football Playoff ecosystem: College football’s Orlando-based bowl game took on the Pop-Tarts Bowl label in 2023.

The Cincinnati Reds signed outfield JJ Bleday to a one-year, $1.4 million deal yesterday. Bleday will be looking to bounce back after a pretty disappointing 2025 season in Sacramento for the A’s. Great American Ballpark may be able to help with that.
