Michigan football loses 2026 signee, WR Brady Marchese
Hailing from Cartersville, Georgia, Brady Marchese flipped from the in-state Bulldogs to Michigan football the day after signing day. It was a huge coup for the Wolverines. However, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, the four-star wide receiver is asking for a release from his NLI.
On Dec. 12, the 66-year-old Whittingham announced he would be stepping down from his head coaching position at Utah after 21 seasons in Salt Lake City. While retirement seemed like it could be on the table for Whittingham, the Wolverines have pulled him back into the game.
Since then, plenty of names have floated around as possible new hires. One of whom is Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm. However, a source told ClutchPoints that Michigan hasn’t reached out to Brohm about the position. Also, Brohm recently stated that he doesn’t intend to leave Louisville, per Seth Berry of Sports Illustrated.
